Before becoming a nurse practitioner in the United States, Pedro earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Cuba, where he received extensive training in family and community medicine. He later continued his medical career in the United States, obtaining his Nurse Practitioner credentials and focusing on primary care services.
